What is Experimental Branch
An optional build of the game with new content and fixes we have already begun working on from community feedback is now live! This branch will be updated regularly and will eventually see some of its changes moved to the live version with hotfixes and future updates.
Note:
This branch has not been fully tested and may contain unforeseen bugs and issues.
Please also bear in mind that not every change will make it to the live version, and we’ll be listening to your thoughts on what does and doesn’t work. Your save should carry over between this version and live but we also cannot guarantee your save data!
How to access the Experimental Branch
1. First right-click the game in your Steam Library and select Properties
2. Then select the ‘Betas’ tab
3. From here select Experimental from the dropdown
Your game should now automatically download the experimental branch when you next play Neon Abyss!
Let us know all your thoughts and feedback in the ‘Experimental Branch Feedback’ section on the Steam forums and feel free to report any issues in the ‘Report Experimental Branch Problems’ area.

FAQ and Regularly Asked Questions
Q. What is a seed?
A. A seed is a code for the random generation of a run. You can use the seed machine near the character select to replay runs you particularly enjoyed or to share with friends but you will always start them fresh.
Q. Why hasn’t my platform gotten the updates?
A. Consoles need more time for QA and testing to make sure it's stable and good. And all the work depends on our publisher Team17. As the devs, what we can do is work hard for updates, and make sure Steam players get them in time because it's easy to publish new content on Steam (only takes a few seconds).

Q. How do I unlock the next boss after Zeus? (very mild spoilers)
A. For Ares you need to get a Violence token which you can find from the Violence/sacrifice special rooms that drop randomly (Enter this room 4 times in the same run and you will definitely be able to get the token). If you get a token, there will be an extra level at the end with Ares. For the next boss Athena you need to do the same except this time, with Wisdom rooms and a Wisdom token. Q. What are the smiley faces on my HUD?
A. They indicate the difficulties in their color but also with hard the dots are the win streaks you need to unlock Abyssal.
Q. How do I unlock Abyssal difficulty?
A. You need to win a runs on the hard mode with the 5 dots and this will unlock the Abyssal difficulty mode.

Major Changes:
* The Lab(Basement level 2)is now open, you can now customize the monster encounters!
